Brick construction giving 75mm wall thickness and housed in extra-thick, mirror-finished stainless steel case. Vent plugs in sides and lid. Separate reversible base disc. Stand with castor wheels. Lid operated safety switch and power on lights fitted into switchbox. Lifting handles fitted. Top quality Kanthal elements and thermocouple fitted. Separate wall mounting control box houses Limitronic, Limitronic Plus, Firemaster or alternative temperature controller, (fully installed with hard wire connection); energy regulators controlling separate zones of the kiln; power-on light, energy regulator cycling lights; contactor(s) and accessory circuit fuse(s). Strongly constructed for long life and low maintenance.
The separate wall mounting control box is a major feature of Silver kilns. It allows all important electrical controls to be kept much cooler which ensures good reliability. It reduces installation costs since the power cable to the kiln is already fitted - as is the controller - and it is more convenient to use.
